Library Day

Every Tuesday is library day at school. I get to bring one book home. So far I have brought home science books on owls and dinosaurs. Thank goodness I live somewhere where evolution is taught in schools without a second thought. This weekend the family went to the main library for some afternoon fun. Adventures of a Crazy Girl and her Sidekick

Life is busy with Dad in school and mom working. The family did help with dad's art project - his personal definition of the sublime - what could be more sublime than cookies! I did my part by making my own.

Mom and Dad celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on the 10th. Way to go guys! and thanks for thinking of me by giving me mom's flowers.

Maggie is getting bigger and bigger - she can walk now but her favorite thing to do is climb. She is sure a little devil but we love her.

Mom would probably say that I am the little devil after last week's visit from Social Services. (Yes, social services). I told everyone at school that "Mom kicked me in the head and it wasn't an accident." You should never try to explain to my 3 year old brain how running into mom's foot is not an accident since you are running inside - because clearly I don't know that people will take this sentence out of context. Who knows what I will think of next.
